* NOSEBAND The noseband is a classic Aachen noseband with clinchers on top. It is softly padded on the inside. The noseband is easily fastened with a buckle underneath, where the buckle is covered in soft leather to avoid direct pressure on the jaw. The flash strap holder is sewn on, but the flash strap is completely removable, so you can choose whether to ride with or without it depending on what your horse needs. * HEADPIECE The headpiece is constructed with an air channel over the poll and the highest part of the neck to provide maximum freedom for the neck's sensitive nerve pathways, muscle attachments, and ligaments that all attach to the neck. It also has built-up, softly padded edges with anatomical shaping around the ears. At the top, there is also a cut-out to evenly distribute pressure over the entire headpiece. * CHEEKPIECES Our cheekpieces are specially designed to reduce pressure from the neck through our elastic CradlesTM. A "Cradle" is an extra elastic band that the bit rests on. The elastic band is located both in the cheekpieces at the bit and on our reins. The idea is that they should act elastically and provide a higher degree of comfort for the horse, allowing the bit to "bounce". This should relieve teeth and jaws from static pressure. Many believe that horses prefer this type of bridle and that it can therefore be more gentle and horse-friendly than regular bridles/reins. On this bridle, the cradles are sewn in place, making it more suitable for show jumping and eventing, but it can also be used for dressage at home. We have also chosen to use French hooks so that you can easily switch bits as needed. * BROWBAND The browband is softly padded on the inside to avoid rubbing and make it more comfortable. We also have a U-shaped design to avoid pressure on the horse's forehead and eye socket. The browband has rubber on the inside to ensure that it stays in place even under the toughest conditions. This browband does not have our Click-ItTM design.
